| Greetings from Wine BOS ! Singapore has survived the financial meltdown, if the stockmarket is something to go by. We also survived the Swine Flu although I believe the news has been over hyped which does not do the FnB business any good. Neither does the gloom and doom about people without jobs. Most of our friends in FnB still have major problems recruiting good staff at all levels. The FnB industry is such a great place to start a Management Career from the ground up. Learn about Customer Relations, Direct Sales, Customer Feedback, People Management etc etc etc. If only a few more ambitous people were prepared to start at the bottom and work their way up. |
| DID YOU KNOW ????? That the now acceptable (in Singapore) screw cap or Stelvin closure has been used by Australia's Supremo Wine Henschke since vintage 2001. Penfolds Grange have been using them for the past 3 years as well. China still finds it difficult to come to grips with the screwcap. Charles Stephan - Wine Director ! |
